Greek philosopher Heraclitus is famed for saying, “The only constant in life is change”.

For OUM as well as our community of learners and graduates, embracing change is something we cannot avoid if we wish to move forward and create real progress in our lives.

In this issue, one alumnus who is also still a learner reveals what keeps her going, while four graduates from Kota Marudu and a comic aficionado from Sarawak share their personal success stories.

We also discuss the first animal abuse case to be prosecuted under the Animal Welfare Act. And finally, in conjunction with this year-end issue, we talk about a unique way to reconsider new year’s resolutions.
